Majic Tractor Truck & Implement Enamel Paint is a durable, heavy-duty alkyd enamel paint specially formulated for excellent adhesion, and resistance to weathering and corrosion. It may be applied by brush or spray, and dries to a high gloss finish. For use on iron, steel, aluminum and properly primed galvanized metal. It dries to a high gloss finish. Available in 1 gal. cans of paint.

- A: In many cases, yes… as long as the surface is clean and properly prepared. However, not all plastics are paintable – and it would first be necessary to identify the type of plastic used to determine if paintable, and what type of surface prep, and/or primer would be recommended.6 years agoHelpful?

- A: “Ag Green” is the official and approved name that this color is associated with on John Deere Equipment. "John Deere green" is not sanctioned for use by John Deere Equipment.6 years agoHelpful?
Q: How does this stuff work for brushing or rolling on? Too thin? We just use it for industrial painting & nothing like body work finish is required.

- A: Spray is the preferred method of application for Majic Tractor & Implement Enamels, but this product may also be applied by brush, or roller, with great results. I would recommend that even though you are considering a brush & roll application, that you still reduce the product with Majic Reducer, #8-0750, about 5% (or 6-7 ounces, per gallon of T&I Enamel). The reason for this is 2-fold… (a) since Majic T&I are high solids products, reducing with Majic Reducer allows for better flow & leveling of the film (to achieve a smoother finish, and more continual gloss), and (2) reducing the product with Majic Reducer helps to control, and/or maintain, the recommended applied thickness of 2.5 mils wet (critical to the best performance of an applied Majic Tractor & Implement Coating system requires a thin application, and to allow 24 hours – minimum - between coats). Too heavy an application, and/or re-coating too soon will often times result in a film that won’t dry “hard” for several days…or longer. (Thin Coats / Allow 24 hours between coats).8 years agoHelpful?

It might look Hulk Green but garbage

It's junk, I might as well just used interior latex no better than this hardened or turned out. Stick with Valspar or a paint shop.

Got this paint at a good price on sale. Color is truly JD Green. Matched up perfectly with Rustoleum's spray paint of the same color used on the same piece of farm equipment. Curbside delivery at my local store was a great convenience during the pandemic.
Could not rate this paint a 5 star because it is a very thin paint that does not cover well. Need to use two or more coats. One coat just isn't enough even on metal with a good primer coat in place. I brushed it on but it should spray on easily since it is thin. Also, it took about 3 full days to harden and cure properly. Can be repainted in 24 hours, but not much sooner. Just too tacky if rushed. I did not buy the expensive quart of hardener, which probably would have helped but that makes the paint too expensive as compared to the competition. Tractor Supply needs to work with the supplier to produce a better paint at a competitive price. Best use would probably be to do annual touch up on already painted farm equipment.

This was the first time I used this paint. Using a high volume - low pressure gun, it sprayed Very Well. Clean up was easy. The finish was very nice. I was pleasantly surprised. I would definitely recommend this brand. I used the primer, paint, hardener, reducer and clear finish. They all worked great.!
