I purchased my Karajan Utility trailer from Tractor Supply of Middletown Delaware. Tyler quickly assisted with the temp tag and temp registration even though the store was very busy being it was Black Friday. Tyler literally couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. The same friendliness and helpfulness was received at the point of me hooking up to my trailer and checking out lights and overall inspection by Stephanie who on this blustery day was working out front. Steph was extremely helpful pointing out all features as well as making sure I got on my way safely! Kudos to the Middletown Tractor Supply Team!! Oh and I also love my new trailer!!!

Great sturdy trailer. Comes with zero tie downs, so plan on whatever you need. There are multiple holes thru the frame for shoulder bolts, or a dozen other ways to add tie downs. The decking is not PT, but looks like it would be easy to replace down the line with the removal of a few bolts. Big enough for a compact tractor or small car and the electric brakes work well.

The trailer looked structurally sound. Unfortunately, there were multiple problems. #1 The absence of a sturdy, electrical harness to support the wires as they emerge from the hitch. #2 The left tail light did not work so we had to hook up to a different trailer and the sales lady (Ann who also hooked the trailer to the truck) had to fill out another set of paperwork. #3 I did not realize this until the next day when I prepared to unhook the trailer, but that there was no cotter pin to keep the hitch locked onto the trailer ball. #4 The worst problem of all could've led to a severe accident. The carriage bolt that connects the leaf springs to the frame fell out on the driver’s side. I had not noticed this until I had already driven 300 miles over a rocky mountain road and an interstate highway with a load of furniture. I have no idea when the bolt actually fell out. I pulled into a hardware store parking lot, bought the proper bolt and necessary tools. I then jacked up the trailer to get the wheels off the ground and applied ratchet straps in horizontal and vertical directions to realign the suspension so the bolt could be replaced. I was able to drive home without incident, and both the original bolt (on the passenger side), and my bolt remain in place. I do have photos of the missing carriage bolt and how I replaced it, but this website is not allowing me to upload them.

Karavan has been sending out manufacturer default trailers,(which Karavan is aware of). They are installing the wrong fenders and I believe have also dropped the overall deck height, both of these features in conjunction will not allow the fold out feature to work properly. Fender sticks up about 9” over the deck where it should be *maybe* 3”. I currently have the 13’ single axle version of this trailer and it’s been great for 2+ years, and I knew that when it was time to get a bigger trailer that this is the one I’d be getting, but the hassle has been enough to receive a 1- star review, once these issues have been addressed, it’s easily a 5-star product. I had ordered this product 2 weeks ago and was notified today that it’s ready for pickup, only for it to be the default trailer, will update once these issues have been resolved.
