For the Stirling 5 x 10 utility trailer, the interior bed width is 5 feet (60 inches). The usable flat bed space is designed for hauling bulk materials such as gravel, soil, and mulch, provided the load remains within the 2,100 lb capacity rating and is properly distributed. We would also recommend placing a sheet of plywood inside the bed before dumping gravel, as this helps protect the Galvalume finish from scratching ad makes cleanup easier after unloading. A few issues

Bring a torque wrench to buy this trailer. I have found two wheel nuts torqued at 15 ft-lbs, two at 30 ft-lbs, and the rest anywhere between 30 and 75, with only one at 75. Per sticker on the trailer it should be at 80 (90 per manual).
One of the tail lights was not working and when I tried to troubleshot it at home all the lights stopped working. A trailer lights fuse on my car keeps blowing indicating that there is a short in the trailer wiring. All the wires are run only in their own insulation and are not protected by a flexible plastic tubing. And there are plenty of sharp edges where the cables are run. For now I had put a spare lights and wiring that I had laying in my garage.
Also, it seems like two bolts might be missing on the front gate (unless I am supposed to get them at HD if I need them).
The floor feels a little too thin. In case I have to move something heavier on thin feet I will be using a 3/4 plywood or 2x4s on the floor.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I have had the same model 5x10 at least 10 years and still use it on a very regular basis. I have had to repair a couple bolts and two lights in all this time and I really like that i can fold down both gates into the bed for easy transport,saves a lot of wind drag when towing it empty.
