The Stirling 6' x 10' Rail Side Utility Trailer is your reliable companion for hauling even the largest loads with confidence. Whether you're transporting ATVs, landscaping equipment, construction materials, or camping gear, this trailer is built to handle it all. The durable A-Frame tongue provides superior stability, better weight distribution, and easier towing, especially with heavier loads. Its stronger design also makes hitching quicker and more secure. With 9-inch rail sides, your cargo stays secure during transport, while the landscape-style drive-on gate makes loading and unloading quick and easy. The Premium Galvalume Plus coating offers twice the lifespan of traditional galvanized models, providing superior corrosion resistance for long-term durability. For added cargo security, the trailer features six recessed tie-downs, and the EZ Lube system simplifies bearing maintenance. Sealed LED lights and protected wiring ensure safe, reliable performance on the road. Q: The manual states that the max towing speed for the 6'x10' Stirling trailer is 60 mph. Is this limit driven by the tires, hubs, trailer stability or something else? My typical load will be about 120 lbs (two kayaks).

Q: Does the ramp allow for transportation of riding mowers with lower clearances? Is there a longer ramp available if not?

Anonymous3 months ago

  • Stirling Trailers
A: Hi Kevin, Thank you for your question. We apologize for the delayed response, we previously experienced an issue with our review notifications, which limited our ability to reply promptly at the time. For this model, the rear gate serves as a ramp and is approximately 3 feet long. This setup works well for many applications, but for equipment with lower ground clearance, the approach angle may be steeper compared to longer ramps. One helpful tip is to position the trailer so the ramp starts from a slight rise, such as backing up to a curb or gentle slope. This reduces the ramp angle and can make loading low-clearance equipment easier. We’ll also be sharing your feedback with our engineering team, as real-world use like this helps us evaluate potential improvements for future designs. We appreciate your question and hope this information is helpful. Westbrook Trailers Support Team

Q: I have a side by side that weighs 1600lbs. Will it be supported by the ramp when loading and unloading?

A: Hi ThomasG, Thank you for your question. We apologize for the delayed response, we previously experienced an issue with our review notifications, which impacted our ability to reply promptly. For this model, the rear gate is designed as a loading ramp and is rated to support up to approximately 50% of the trailer’s total payload during loading. The load is typically distributed between the ramp, the trailer deck, and the ground at any given moment. For your side-by-side, this loading distribution is within the intended design, provided that at no point is the full weight of the machine concentrated entirely on the ramp during normal loading or unloading. This configuration is considered safe within the trailer’s rated capacity when used as intended. Thank you again for your question. We hope this explanation clarifies the design and intended use of your trailer. —Westbrook Trailers Support Team

Questionable build quality.

I just bought this trailer from Taughton, MA. I drove it home without a load on it. I got home and noticed a bolt already missing from the corner near the back left of the gate. The bolt must have come out during transport. This is very concerning during the first use. It was a major bolt keeping the rail corners together. I am considering bringing it back to Tractor Supply and getting a different trailer. One built better.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Hello DR66, I’m very sorry for the delay in responding to your review—this is not the experience we want for our customers. We recently discovered an issue with notifications from our supplier that prevented us from seeing your message when it was first submitted. Unfortunately, this delayed our response. Thank you for letting us know about the missing bolt. We have already escalated this to our third-party installation partner, who is responsible for the final assembly of the trailers at the store, including installing the side rails. We take feedback like this seriously and are addressing it with them immediately to ensure this issue is corrected and reinforced in their process. We completely understand how concerning it can be to discover something missing during initial use. Thank you for bringing this to our attention so we can take action and help prevent it from happening again. We truly hope you’ve decided to keep the trailer, and we would welcome the opportunity to restore your confidence in our product. If you need any replacement hardware or support checking everything over, please contact us directly at support@westbrooktrailers.com and we’ll take care of it right away. Thank you again for your business and your feedback.

Toy Trailer

Bought this trailer to resist rust at a great deal while on sale. Trailer fits my Polaris Ranger 570 with some wiggle room. Hauled over 400 miles right off the lot with 0 issues. Construction is nice, gate latches work well, existing tie downs meant no need to add before hauling. Looking forward to many trips with this in tail.

Extremely light

I like the trailer, and it has some good features. On the other side the deck of the trailer is very flimsy. If you are not standing on a supports it feels like you could go through. It almost looks like the back of the deck is sloping down.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Fantastic Trailer

I have been looking at an purchasing aluminum trailer when I happened to find this trailer at TSC. I purchased this one at 1/2 the price of the aluminum one I was considering! Loving it so far especially the jack with caster wheel which allows me connect/disconnect quickly as well as maneuver it easily around my driveway even when loaded.

Yes, I recommend this product.
