Sturdy build and rust free

Sturdy construction with strong welds. LED lighting. Tailgate can fold forward onto the deck making it easier to stow the trailer. All components are aluminium with the exception of high-stressed items - axle components and mounting (black painted steel), tailgate hooks (chromed steel?) and ball coupling and telescopic stay (galvanised steel) and nuts and boltsTows very smoothly - no crashing and banging.
Wood floor looks very strong but will replace with Al checker-plate at some point and the expanded metal on the tailgate will need some protection (3/4" plywood strips?) to prevent sagging if running anything heavy up it. Wood is anchored with plated steel screws - will replace those with stainless before they corrode.
Am done with cheap painted steel trailers - work fine but rust out every 5 to 10 years. Spray the steel suspension components on this trailer with a wax-based corrosion inhibitor and it should be the last I ever need to buy.

I bought the 5.5 x 10 in early March.
The mesh on the tailgate is already sagging.
It looks like poo on my brand new trailer.

Gate latch detaches

The U-shaped tailgate latches will work their way up and detach the gate. The gate will and drop down while towing.
I've drilled holes in the latch mount and the u-shaped latch to insert a hitch pin clip on each side to eliminate this.
Otherwise I'd give it a "5".
Yes, I recommend this product.

Factory welds not holding up had it 1 month bracket broke for lift gate. Yes Carry-on trailer did pay for it but I had to wait for the bracket. Check was another story two weeks before it came after waiting a week for parts not real happy.
