Item Information

HealthyCoat is a highly digestible source of Omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids, Vitamin E and Lecithin, and is fortified with Niacin, Biotin and Vitamin B12, with no artificial preservatives. Due to the lack of freshness and feed processing, the nutrients found in HealthyCoat are often lacking in a horse's diet. These Omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids cannot be produced by the horse and must come from an outside source

IN HealthyCoat, the highest quality available Omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids are preserved due to our unique mechanical extraction process. This method uses low temperatures and no chemicals.

Obvious symptoms of fatty acid deficiency are dry skin, weak hooves, dull hair, lack of vitality, poor health or condition.

HealthyCoat has been proven to promote optimum health and decrease fatty acid deficiency. HealthyCoat, without a doubt, is the best choice for your horse's supplemental nutritional needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works! My filly had developed an ongoing minor skin irritation that was causing her a lot of itching and discomfort. Our vet suggested getting her on an omega supplement. This product was all Tractor had in store that day, so brought it home and tried it. It took a few days before she would eat it...she's very picky and it was "different", and she has a disdain for all things "different" in her food. But she eventually stopped turning her nose away from it, and within a week, the irritation has cleared up and nothing further is developing. Her coat is soft, her skin is bump and scab free, and she looks good. I'll keep this as part of her diet, and anxious to see how she looks in the spring when she starts shedding all that winter hair! I was planning on ordering a less expensive bottle of flax seed oil when this runs out, but since this is working so well, I think I'll stick with it...why mess with a good thing?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Stuff! Horses lick the feed buckets clean!! I fed this awesome stuff for a while and then one day decided to give Omega Horseshine a try. Let's just say my horses went from loving there feed to throwing it all over the ground. I also have a very easy keeper who is not picky at all! This horse ate my pork chop sandwhich off of my trailer, he will eat anything, and he does not care for it. He leaves it in the bottom of the bucket. It had a funky smell, which may be why he doesn't like it, but Im giving the rest of the bag to a friend to try and going buy some HealthyCoat!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product! I would recommend this for any horse that is a rescue, needs extra weight and general health. I used it for mine several years ago and it made definite changes in their coats, tails, and overall health. I used slightly less than recommended and mixed it in well with warm water and they seemed to enjoy it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A GREAT purchase Healthy coat is a great investment for your animals. It helps your animals in so many ways. It gives them extra nutrients and vitamins that your feed doesnt offer. You can see a difference is just a matters a few days to a week. One of my mares coliced about two weeks after giving birth. She lost between 350-400 pounds. We almost lost her. I started her back on the healthy and in about 2 weeks her hip bones were almost filled back in and she looked and felt like a different horse. I would recommend this product to everyone!
