UltraCruz Equine Flax Oil Blend Supplement for Horses is a supplement for horses that contains pure cold-pressed Flax (Linseed) Oil blended with Soybean Oil. This supplement is provided as a palatable liquid and serves as an excellent source of Omega-3 Fatty Acids for horses that are lacking them in their diet, or consuming a diet with an imbalanced ratio of Omega-3 to Omega-6 Fatty Acids. A diet with a balanced fatty acid ratio is essential for healthy skin, coat, and hooves as well as supporting a normal inflammatory response. Q: The measurement guidelines aren't very clear. For a 1000 pound horse, how many oz should they receive daily? I ordered the pump and I believe it is 2oz per pump.

- A: Hello, The pump does dispense approximately 2 ounces per pump. For a 1000lb horse, it is recommended that they get 1/4 cup twice a day. This would equate to 1 pump twice per day. For advanced needs, it is recommended that a 1000lb horse get 1/3 cup twice a day. This is equivalent to approximately one and a half pumps twice a day.3 years ago
