Harris Farms 2 gal. Double Wall Drinker is rated 2.7 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor workmanship The handle on mine was connected to the top part of the waterer with a metal flange. It came loose and made the whole thing useless since you have to turn the top part with the handle to make it seat on the bottom. Terrible quality!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tried so hard to make it work I saw all of the poor reviews and thought, it can't be that bad. Well... If you place it on the ground, it has to be totally flat. Any tilt will cause the device to drain its water, continuously. I cleared a spot and laid a level paver down. It worked for a short time. Because of the double wall, the think area between freezes way to quickly. Even on a night with temps just above freezing. The top is not roost proof, they still manage to get up there. For the price I guess I expected more.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Design Issues I would be really happy with this drinker if it was designed in a way that birds can't roost on the top. It can't be hung and if you place it on the ground, birds kick debris into it. So I have mine sitting on a platform but it still gets perched on and filled with droppings. Instead of filling it up and changing it every few days, I only put a few inches of water in it, knowing I'll have to pick it up and wash it out the next time I walk by. It's a hassle.

Do you fill from the top or does tank have to be separated from bottom? I can not get the holding tanks off of plastic ones when filled with grit.

Asked by: wandahannah1
