Decent and Durable for Price

This feeder holds up well over the last year that we've owned it however there are two small caveats.
1 - Every once in awhile a chicken will gets its beak wedged between the white posts and the bottom
2 - If using something with a finer powder (like crumbles) and you need to disassemble to clean the slots for reassembling are gummed up and must be cleaned out before reassembly.

WHY IS THE TOP LEFT OPEN WITH NO TOP?? I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT ONE SOME TIME AGO FROM THE LOCAL TS STORE....BUT, FOR THE FEEDER NOT HAVING A LID/TOP TO KEEP RAIN OUT OF THE MAIN STORE OF FEED...SEEMS LIKE A COMPLETE OVERSIGHT BY THE MANUFACTURER TO ME!!
