Q: how do you adjust the height

1 Answer
  • A: Hi, To adjust the height of your Harris Farms 15 lb. Hanging Poultry Feeder, reposition the hooks on the feeder tray. The feeder tray has three slots that allow for adjusting the height. By moving the hooks to a different slot, you can change how high the feeder hangs. This adjustment is crucial to ensure the feeder is at the correct height for your chickens, ideally level with their back when they are feeding.

Feeder

I have had this feeder for about seven months and have not had a problem with it. Holds plenty of feed for six hens so I can go 3 or 4 days with out filling it. I have it hanging in the coop so the hens don't kick out feed. Can't complain. Good buy !

lasted about 5.5 months

The welds that hold the top to the bottom all broke in under six months. Contacted Harris Farms in January and they said they'd mail replacements but they never did. Bought two more and they came without the handles. Very displeased with these feeders for the price paid. I'm looking for another type.

15 lb feeders and 2 gallon waterers

I love the hanging waterers and feeders. . I have purchased four each for my chicken pens. The waters have started to rust inside already after only 4 months of usuage. That concerns me about long term use.

Great chicken feeder! But needs a lid

It is a really nice feeder, it has three holes for how much food comes out the bottom I prefer the hole at the bottom so my chickens don’t dig all the food out.The only thing wrong is it doesn’t have a lid and sometimes chickens can decide to just in their feeders I’ve seen one stuck one time they should definitely have a lid. Besides that is a good feeder.

Yes, I recommend this product.
