Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as good as expected! Within a few months one of the springs has broken. Now without warning the bottom tray will fall off. Also it doesn’t despence very well. I have to shake it or the food will stay piled up in the middle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Accomplished the task We purchased this feeder just for our guinea fowl. Our chickens were not much for sharing with them. The open top can allow you to run pvc pipe to it and enable you to feed from outside of the pen. Very handy!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No crazy about this feeder. I thought this would be a better alternative then the plastic ones. I've only had it a little over a month and already one of the springs has broken, and the food stays piled up in the middle of the feeder, it needs to be shaken to get the food to distribute.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't last I've been using this for a few months and it no longer works. When I moved it to the second hole the arms will no longer stay in. One of the other reviews is correct, you need to keep topping if off or shake it to get the food to drop down.

Why is this called a 15 pound feeder when it only holds 2 pounds of feed? New to the chicken world.

Asked by: Mosquito acres pharm
It will hold 15 lbs. of standard chicken feed. My guess is that you are using a much larger type of feed .
