Overall this machine is great. The selection of spindles is great. Only two areas of complaint. First, they need to offer a wider selection of plates. I understand the need for an oval shaped opening in the plates to accommodate the title feature of the table, but a selection of plates with various hole diameters that match the various spindle sizes would be great. Second, I was surprised at how easily the table was scratched just by sliding a piece of wood over it.

Very heavy solid machine with good fit and finishes. Arrived in a solid wood crate surrounding it screwed to a pallet. Very well protected. Much of dust is projected from spindle above the table and the dust collection port is below the table. The inserts around the drums have oval shaped opening to account for gilt of the table which would be done rarely so should come with inserts that have round opening to make smaller gap. Also apparently you have to change the oil for the motor after the first 2 hours of use. Yes literally drain out the oil and put in new oil like in a car. Not a big deal but I had no idea. Why they made it this way I don't know but no other machine in shop requires this.

Got this last month. Delivery was fast and the machine was packed well. It arrived unscathed. Unpacked and set up the machine and all is well. Love it.

Ordered end of November knowing there was a wait. Notified January, on its way. So far real good! Truck showed up and everything went South! Sander was laying on its side in a ball of shrink wrap, scraps of wood tangled in the wrapping and oil everywhere. Reddaway Trucking. Ship It Back! After I wrote a scathing email to Customer Service, I had to follow up with a call to get the process of more hassles started. Was told we email the shipper and wait (and wait and wait) for a reply - no phone calls to the shipper to confirm the destruction of the sander and it was refused; only email. Glad your covering your ass with my money! Took a week for them to ship another one. Then the replacement arrives and it was in very good condition. Unpacking and getting it set up, following the instructions; came to the part where its stated "the machine is not shipped with oil, you must fill it before use" - (Then why am I getting oil on the dip stick)? I know shippers don't ship 'wet' (mostly) and why was the first one coated in oil along with the truck? So Bad went to Worse when I decided to 'Phone a Friend - Grizzly' (Honestly I have no idea why I called them, maybe because their name was on the machine) they knew about 0. Embarrassing. It took about 45 minutes to find out that "THIS MACHINE IS SHIPPED WITH OIL" and that information did not come from Customer Service (although they did try to find out - they should have direct information as to which machines are and are not shipped with oil). After inventing a few new words, I finally ended up speaking with an employee, JEFF K in Technical Support, and after a little research he was able to confirm the Pre-Ship process of my machine and stated it was tested and it was shipped with the required oil. This was less than a desirable transaction for me; it left behind a bad taste that I will not forget. I am not an easy customer to deal with and I know Grizzly did not load the sander on its side - Thanks again Reddaway (garbage trucks). I have to set my emotions aside and say that Grizzly worked to get this corrected and they must make sure they are not being 'gamed'. I have to give them 3-4 stars for that but: The 5th STAR goes to JEFF K in Tech Support and is the only reason I am spending time to write this. Jack is the reason I will consider Grizzly again. Until he stepped into the picture, this would be a 1 Star review; and a client that would consider anybody else for equipment. Find a better Shipper - don't do this to your clients; I see this is a developing pattern from reviews.
