Built for those that demand the biggest and the best sander for their shop. From the sturdy aluminum spring loaded table to the contoured edge sanding capability, the G9984 has been intelligently engineered from start to finish.

The edge-table tilts from 0-45° and both the edge-table and end-table have 8" of travel.

Both tables utilize a T-slot for precision sanding with the included miter gauge.

I'm very happy with the G9984 ,only thing I miss is the emergency stop on top of machine, otherwise A+.

Super machine, but....

Excellent machine. A real beast. Very heavy and powerful. One small complaint... I use the machine for sanding the edges of cabinet doors, etc, and need a 45 stop to rest the door against while sanding. On this machine, the stop provided is only a small, simple miter gauge, maybe four or five inches wide. Its like they took a miter gauge from a much smaller machine and used it for this large machine. Also, this miter gauge is fixed to the sanding table by screws. I dont like where they drilled the holes for the screws. Rather than locating the stop/gauge at the beginning of the sanding table, they drilled the holes further up the table by a few inches. SO, youve now lost this amount of available table space. AND, if you want to temporarily remove the miter gauge for sanding a longer piece, better break out your screwdrivers because it doesnt simply lift out, but rather it is fastened by three separate screws. Pain in the rear. I have since discarded what was provided and made my own wider, more robust stop that can be quickly flipped up or down. Also, I installed my stop at the very beginning of the sanding table where it should have been all along.

Great belt sander

I have had this sander about a year now and am well pleased. Everything works as it should and has saved many sanding hours. One thing I really like is the weight of the machine, you can put as much pressure against it and it stays in place.

It does exactly what we needed for mass production. Saves so many man hours compared to using standard orbital sanders. Will be purchasing a 2nd one in the near future.
