Featuring the popular 4" wide belt, the G0897 4" x 48" 2-Wheel Belt Grinder/Sander is great for knife making and many more uses. The powerful 2 HP motor moves the belt at 4500 FPM, allowing you to easily remove material from even the toughest steel.

The large 4-3/4" x 11-1/8" platen allows plenty of space for flat grinding.

The work rest allows for end grinding. A spark trap and eye shield protect the user from being sprayed with sparks.

Adjusting the belt tracking is as easy as turning the belt tracking adjustment knob.

The rigid cast-iron frame reduces chatter during operation.

A full range of replacement belts are available.

The G0897 manual was written by our U.S- based Documentation Department is packed with useful information. The complete and easy-to-read manual provides full instructions on how to assemble and maintain your sander.

    Good machine for the price.

    I purchased this machine to clean up tube notches and small parts off my cnc plasma table. Has the power to do so, pretty good bang for the buck. Only rating 4 stars instead of 5 because the stand that comes with it is kinda short, I'm 5’10” and dont like leaning over to use it.

    Great Grizzly Grinder

    This belt grinder gets the job done! Plenty of power for my needs which include light metal fabrication around the farm with steel and aluminum. The 2 HP motor runs smooth, is surprisingly quiet and has more than enough torque for anything I've thrown at it so far. This was definitely money well spent!

    Purchased about a month ago, Have always wanted a good belt grinder and this did not let me down. Very quiet, super simple belt change. Great deal all the way around.
