Double your sanding capacity within a small footprint. The G0819 15" 5 HP Open-End Wide-Belt Sander is for those looking to maximize efficiency in their wood shop.

With a footprint of 19-1/2" x 27-1/2", this heavy-duty sander is capable of sanding a 30" wide workpiece in two passes. That's a lot of capacity for a smaller sander!

It takes less than 30 seconds to change out the 16" x 48" sanding belts. For a full range of replacement belts for the G0819, shop here.

With a focus on rigidity and production work, the G0819 will have zero flex on a heavy pass. An adjustable side support slides out from the side of the machine, eliminating the need for aftermarket supports.

The three conveyor speeds of 16.4, 23, and 32.8 feet per minute allow for adjustment based on the type wood being sanded.

The G0819 has pneumatic oscillation speed control and a pulse-jet cleaning system to keep the electric oscillation sensor dust-free.

Other quality features such as an amp meter, micro-adjustable graphite-felt platen, and emergency stop plate makes this a high-caliber machine.

Like all Grizzly wide-belt sanders, the G0819 comes with a 1-year warranty which covers parts and assures the unit is free from factory defects.

The G0819 manual was written by our U.S. based Technical Documentation Department and is packed with useful information.

The Grizzly Customer Service and Technical Support Teams are U.S. based. Parts and accessories for the sander may be available online and shipped from the Grizzly parts warehouse in Springfield, MO.

    Pretty Happy

Great machine, only complaint is a pallet jack will not move this machine the way it's crated so if you don't have access to a forklift, good luck. Went on sale right after delivery, they wouldn't make it right.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Great machine for small shop

This is a great machine for a small shop. It takes up very little floor space but works just like a bigger machine just on a smaller scale. Paper is super easy to change and everything works good. I have heard of some people being concerned about the open end but it actually works really good. You do have some overlap lines if you run a wide piece through twice if it is cupped a little but if it's flat there is very minimal overlap and it is a very precise machine. It could be considered underpowered but on the other hand if you worked it much harder you'd just burn the paper up. Definitely would recommend over a drum sander

    Valuable machine

This sander is a great entry level machine and has a small footprint for those with small shops with limited space. I haven't had much experience with it sanding anything wider than 15" but for what I have done it's a sure time saver on those long flat surfaces. Belt changes are very easy so being laisy about changing grits when needed isn't an issue. I have noticed that you definitely want to take small passes because depending on what type of wood you're sanding and how wide the board you can easily overload this machine if your not paying attention to how many turns of the hand wheel and keeping an eye on the ampmeter is a must. If you are realistic about how much you can take off, and stick to relatively small passes this machine will not disappoint you. Also keeping an eye on your belt clean will help things. Great machine for the money. Thanks again Grizzly!
