2-3 projects in the saw has worked great , very imlressed

This is a great bandsaw for me, I cut bowl blanks and resaw lumber, changing the blade was a piece of cake. The bear crawl was easy to assemble and the saw sits firmly in place. Very satisfied with these purchases!

The 14 inch saw is built to last!! Nothing but quality in every aspect!! It is a pure joy to use such a fine piece of equipment!!

Bought this saw a while back and have just got it into service. The first issue was a missing part. I will say my call to Grizzly tech support was great and the part sent out right away. Next, as I was going through the set up, I started the machine up and heard a terrible noise from inside and immediately stopped it only to find the tension pointer lying in the bottom bent to hell. Not sure if they never secured it at the factory since I could not find the retaining screw nor the two washers supposed to secure it. Another call to tech support and they did over-night the required parts and I managed to install them. Finally, when finishing the set up I found the guide bearings on one side could not be adjusted to not touch the blade. Another call to tech support who requested pictures and videos. I finally diagnosed the issue upon practically disassembling the top guide post and discovered a part was twisted as it was inserted. I managed to twist it back into position and fingers crossed, the rest of the set up went OK. This was my first experience with Grizzly and other than a very easy to reach and friendly tech support, I am reserving my judgement of the quality and performance. I chose this machine because a national wood magazine rated it their best band saw and I wanted a larger more powerful machine, plus I liked the option of the foot brake (never have liked waiting for a band saw blade to stop running)
