Built for production and sized for cutting work up to 20 in. W to the left of the blade and 14 in. tall, this Heavy-Duty Bandsaw won't back down to anything less. The 5 HP, TEFC motor powers the fully balanced cast iron wheels for smooth operation all day long. Other features like blade tension indicator, micro adjusting tilt table, motor brake and rack and pinion upper guide adjustment make operating functions quick and convenient.

Great power. Runs smooth, love the break.

Bought this about 2 months ago and have used it for several projects now. Great cutting power, resawed some mulberry logs 21” diameter. Had to slice off the edges to get it to fit first, but it powered through a solid 17” of log with no problems with a fresh sharp 3 TPI blade. Also did some 18” diameter circles through 2” thick walnut with ease. The break and power were great upgrades from what I had.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Electronic brake for us is well worth it.

Purchased the identical bandsaw to what we have in place with an electronic break for the primary safety purposes for the office. It stops within approximately three seconds, if not faster after break in. I would purchase again in a heartbeat.

Such a great saw

This saw is much bigger in real life than it seems on paper. I previously struggled to get my G0555 to cut well through more than 8" bowl blanks. This G0531b has cut through 10"-12" without the motor slowing down at all, while cutting in a straight line. The table tilt and blade guard mechanisms are super sturdy, and the table is huge. The lower door clears the bear crawl "papa bear" mobile base without issues. Overall, a great saw at a great price.
