Is the total length of the post 51/2 ft or is it for a 5 ft fence?

The total length is 5.5'. You will need to drive it, at least to the anchor plate, into the ground.

So the question was ask but,? do you get a 5 1/2' post for 5' fencing? I don't know how far up the anchor is?

The top of the anchor plate is 16’ and we recommend a 6’ post.
