Hi woody247. Thank you for your feedback regarding the 810 model Ecofan. I'm sorry to hear that it was not what you were expecting. The Ecofan is not like a 'fan' as it does not blow air. The Ecofan is designed to disperse the warm air into your living area. When you do not have an Ecofan on your stovetop, the warm air rises to the ceiling first and then disperses downwards from there. As well, our Ecofans are the only heat powered stove fan on the market that is tested and proven to increase the efficiency of your stove and reduce your burn and emissions.
