The DuraPlus 6 in. Diameter Tee with Cap is designed for use for through-the-wall chimney installations. A tee cleanout cap is removable for easy chimney cleaning or inspection. Wall straps, a wall thimble, and a tee support must be installed with the tee as directed. Ventilation air for your chimney must be drawn from outdoors in order to ensure your safety.
- Designed to stay cool on the outside, to provide a hot draft on the inside, to boost stove efficiency, and to provide for a fire-safe design that protects both the chimney and the building
- Triple-wall chimney features two insulating layers (refractory blanket, plus air space)
- Refractory insulation is held securely in position, eliminating hot spots common with loose-fill type insulations
