The slip connector can also be added to 6 in. - 8 in. DuraTech finishing collar to help bolster its durability. Adding 3 in. - 13 in. of length to rigid pipe, this 8 in diameter slip connector provides a strong mechanical connection.

Nice trick

This piece got me through the winter. It hooks to the double wall right at the ceiling.Then, you connect the plate to the box. The last one lasted, ten years until I had a chimney fire whoops.
