Properly secure your chimney by using the DuraPlus 6 in. Diameter Stainless Steel Chimney Wall Thimble. The triple insulated walls of the chimney parts reduce heat transfer to protect the stove and house. The pipe accessory provides stability and secures the chimney along the wall.
- Chimney parts are designed to stay cool on the outside and provide a hot draft on the inside to boost stove efficiency
- Triple-wall chimney features two insulating layers with a refractory blanket and air space
- Refractory insulation is held securely in position to eliminate hot spots common with loose-fill type insulations
- Pipe accessory provides a fire-safe design that protects both the chimney and the building
- Adjusts from a minimum of 4 14 in. to a maximum of 7 14 in. wall thickness, and fits between standard wall studs
- Telescoping piece can be extended up to 16 in. to accommodate thick walls with a field-fabricated extension installed
- Must be installed horizontally through the wall and extend a minimum of 2 in. into the room beyond the interior wall

Q: I have a very old barn made out of 6x8 wood placed on top of each other, and i have a gas stove that i Will mount off the floor of the loft and need to run a pipe through the wall and then about six feet up. Will this work to go through the wall.
