The Country Pro 200lb 8.7 cu. ft. Tow-Behind Manure Spreader provides a simple and efficient way to manage horse stall waste and distribute manure across lawns, gardens, fields, pastures and other outdoor areas. Its compact design fits through standard 4 ft. gates, making it ideal for smaller barns, horse properties and areas with limited access. With a capacity of up to 200 lb., the spacious hopper can hold material from as many as four horse stalls, helping you complete cleanup and spreading tasks with fewer trips. The ground-driven spreading system operates as the wheels turn, eliminating the need for an external power source. Convenient wheel-mounted engagement levers allow you to activate or disengage the spreading mechanism as needed. Simply connect the spreader to a compatible garden tractor, ATV, UTV or riding mower to transport stall waste and distribute manure efficiently.
An adjustable relief panel allows the discharge opening to be increased or decreased based on the size, consistency and moisture level of the manure. Steel agitators help move and break up material, while the one-piece, corrosion-resistant extruded aluminum drum and integrated spreader vanes provide quick, consistent distribution. Don't waste your money

Cheaply made. Had a tire come completely off and is a one piece, foam filled tire. Also had both of the stop-bolts that are utilized to engage the distribution mechanism break off. Inner mixer/spindle has stopped turning because of cheap, plastic parts.
Parts are impossible to find. If it was less than $300, then it might be worth it. Don't waste your money

Beware

The hitch doesn't fit a 2" or smaller ball as stated should. We took it to a repair shop to see if something was wrong and they couldn't fix it. They said it was garbage. So now we are looking for a new hitch that will work. For the money you expect all parts to work.

Low quality for the mo ey

Drive mechanism is very flimsy and had to be modified immediately. Does not handle a full load of compost.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Quality Control?

Thought this was a great product although I had to go Tractor Supply to understand how to engage the spreader. Worked great for my 2 stalled horses. Unfortunately, I've only used it 5 times and nuts and bolts started falling off in the field. The spreader wheel disconnected on one side and the engagement mechanism bolt fell off on the other side on the same outing. I had to do repairs to it in the field in order to get it back into the barnyard. Then had to repair bent engagement mechanism and bent blocking bar (tube?) I rechecked all nuts and bolts but worried it will happen again. Also, the specs online say 250# capacity but the actual spreader has a 200# capacity label on it.
No, I do not recommend this product.
