Nice little implement for small property owners

This is an excellent little manure spreader for smaller properties. You will need a second person to load it if you want to be efficient. Took four hours to distribute a years worth of manure across 5 acres— a vast improvement from previous years. It is lightweight and maximum speed is 5 mph. That’s my only complaint.

Bought this spreader used from a horse farm, have owned it over 10 years, 4 horse stalls daily and the very few issues my husband could fix easily, so still going!

Does NOT come “fully assembled” assembler beware!

The machine is fantastic!!! (5 stars)
The delivery, not so much. The spreader comes bolted to a pallet mounted vertically and weighs 378 ish pounds.
The delivery truck from the manufacturer didn’t have a fork lift either.
Needless to say, it’s a monumental task to remove it from the pallet and attach the neck to the body given that most people don’t have an overhead hoist which is recommended in the assembly instructions.
(The website states it arrives fully assembled)
There also no way to ship to the store and have it assembled and load it on a trailer for transport which would be ideal.
