i BOUGHT THE TRAILER ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO, USED IT ONCE, AND THE BALL AND TONGUE MECHANISM FELL APART. n NEED TO KNOW IF i CAN GET A NEW PART

I recently bought a 5x8 utility trailer from the Greer, SC Tractor Supply. The trailer itself is good quality for the price — sturdy, solid, and exactly what I needed. However, the pickup experience was disappointing. When I arrived (almost three hours after being told it was ready), the staff couldn’t unlock the hitch lock and tried multiple keys with no success. Since I was running out of time, they let me take an identical trailer next to it — but that one had a missing tail light that they didn't even realize until I did. They said it was likely vandalism overnight, and I believe that; it looked intentionally removed. At that point, I actually wanted to cancel the pickup, but they immediately started working on the light, so I assumed it would be a quick fix. It wasn’t. They kept the title in my hands while I left the store for six hours, and my property sat outside unsecured — a situation I never want to be in again. When I returned, the trailer was still unchained and unprotected, even though their system showed it as already picked up. And although they said the tail light was repaired, I discovered at home that the wiring was connected using twist nuts — a temporary fix at best. Honestly, it might be a miracle those didn’t loosen during the 15‑mile drive home. Seeing that non‑permanent wiring was the moment I knew I needed to write this review. Overall, the trailer itself is good value. But the pickup process, security handling, and repair quality were not.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I bought this in March. One of the reasons I wanted to buy from Tractor Supply Co was that they took care of the registration for license plates. I am a very busy person, and any such service like this is like catnip for me. Everything seemed to go well, I went to the store in Sonora California, paid the money, filled out the information, was given a temporary license plate and was on my way. 7 months later, still no license plate. I have called several times, only for them to take my name and phone number saying they will get back to me, and they never get back to me. 7 months!!! I contacted corporate, they say allow up to two business days to get back to me, and here we are a week later and no response. The trailer is fine, except that I can't legally use it on roads. 7 months!!!! If you don't want a hassle, look somewhere else for a trailer :-(

So far so good. Great trailer and has been of great use. Durable and easy to manage. Great price as well.
