Stopped working on second use

What an absolute piece of junk. I used it twice. The second time, it would no longer unlock with either of the provided keys. Took a sledgehammer to it, one blow and it broke. Someone who wants to steal your trailer won’t be deterred by this one little bit.

I had been using a harbor freight lock, I barely tapped that; and it fell apart. I looked at several locks while at the tractor supply store, and upon visual inspection, I found this one to at least look more well built than the other few on the shelf, and surely more than the harbor freight lock. It took me some searching online to come to this decision. After reading these reviews, I find it to be similar to the master ball lock I had looked for. Hopefully it’s theft resistant, won’t corrode on me, and it looks compatible with the ball on the trailer.
