I have had this plant in ground for 3 months with continuous production & it is producing like a champ now on Nov 3. I plan to move it to a 25 gallon pot to place into my new greenhouse & see how long it continues to produce. I normally pick while green. They are so delish I have waited on a few get to red! I use them as my bell pepper. Zone 8A

Fantastic exotic pepper plant to complement my gar

Fantastic exotic pepper plant to complement my garden. I swear by cubanelle’s now. This plant has next to no spice and taste like a bold green bell pepper. When you sauté them they turn fluorescent green, which adds an amazing pop of color to any dish. The plant itself produces more than a standard bell pepper, and is a lot harder in the South Texas heat!!

Best pepper to grow in Portland, Oregon!

This is the 3rd year I've bought these peppers. We are HOOKED! They do so well here in Portland Oregon and are very prolific. They grow on through October! We love stuffing these with cheddar onion rice and wrapping them in bacon and putting them on the BBQ. We also use plenty of these in our Freezer salsa. These are sure winners to grow in your garden!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Very high yield

I grew a Cubanelle Sweet pepper plant from Bonnie Plants this past summer and just harvested. I'm in Chicago and I grew it in a 20 gallon felt pot in partial shade. Although I harvested through out the summer, this is my final and largest harvest from the plant on 11/7/17. This plant had high yield, and was very resistant to both heat and freezing, had zero fungus or powdery mildew while my tomatoes right next to it were being consumed. Japanese beetles did not bother this plant. The pepper size ranged from a kid's hand to a large adult hand, with each one being unique in shape, but very consistent in having great texture and crispness, and a light sweetness combined with with light pepper flavor. Don't expect them to get red on the vine. Mine were mostly all light green and I gave them until 11/7. It seemed like this plant would have kept going and going if it were in a green house. This was a very successful and reliable plant.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
