I bought this Berne jacket to replace a Wrangler work wear jacket I use for work. First off, it's a really nice looking jacket, the "vintage" looks good. Second, the zipper, although looks like a no name brand, is smooth and doesn't bind, The hand warmer pockets are fleece lined and deep enough to hold a pair of gloves (one in each pocket) with out worrying about them falling out. The rest of the pockets are sufficient but slightly smaller than I would like but completely functional. It's relatively warm and wind resistant. The fabric has no appreciable water resistance so rain will soak through quickly. So far I'm very pleased and was a significant upgrade over the Wrangler I had before.
