- A: There is not a compost can by Behrens without holes, however, there are galvanized steel trash cans by Behrens listed on the TSC website that do not have holes. They will not provide the same level of airflow nor do they come with built in legs to keep the can off the ground.4 years agoHelpful?

I’m very pleased with my new compost bin. The size seems perfect for the average suburban home, if you chop up your yard waste a bit. It’s good looking, doesn’t take up much space, and has a snug-fitting lid. If pressed for a negative, I’d admit that I’m frustrated that the big label didn’t peel off easily. It’ll stay on there until I’m willing to put in some effort.

Least expensive commercially available burn barrel I could find. Delivered damaged even though box was not. Likely due to the lightweight gauge of the metal. Not yet used but will probably be ok if the ash is dumped right after use and not left out in the elements. Otherwise, I expect it would rot out quickly.
