Rated 5 out of 5 by from Antler King does it again! I think Slam Dunk is fairly new as I tried it last year for the first time and it was fantastic. Deer in it all the time and shot a nice buck in it during our gun season, and my son killed a great buck in the same plot with a bow. I just wish Tractor supply would carry more Antler King products, especially their blocks and minerals..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best all fall plot. This plot has a variety that will have deer coming all fall and in to last season. This is a lights out plot mix or i guess it would be a slam dunk.

I live in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. My soil is full of red shale(good brick making stuff) once I get the PH right, what product would you recommend and what might I need to do to keep the soil from getting to acidic over the years?

Asked by: Gary n Largent
I would look at planting either No Sweat or Game Changer Clover, for your soil you will just need to keep up on your soil samples and adjust it according. That is some nasty stuff but both of these mixes will work well in poor soil

When should I plant in central Alabama?

Asked by: Totempole
Slam Dunk is a personal favorite of mine and in Central AL I would try to wait until your average temperature is below 85 degrees.....depending on your exact location and what mother nature offers you would be good to go late August, through September and even into early October...these plant varieties grow fast and provide awesome hunt over forage all fall and winter.

Does this require full sun?

Asked by: RS73
Slam Dunk does not require full sunlight, but it will need more sunlight than some of our mixes like No Sweat No Till or Lights Out Forage. Average sun about 4-6 hours a day is plenty. Great mix, especially if you're looking for attraction and forage all Fall and Winter.
