Works for a few years, replacement sensor costly
a year ago
I purchase 2 of these units about 4 years ago. Both sensors failed this year. I found disturbing the company's replacement gimmick. They priced the unit 1 penny below free shipping, and no discount.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Decent meter for the price

Decent meter for the price and is fairly consistent so far with other measuring devices I have. There are a few things to know. The instructions state there should be no obstructions around the meter and above. As such, the meter is directly exposed to sunlight and may impact the temperature reading (I haven't been through a Summer with it yet). Also, a decent snowfall will stop the wind meter. I also wish there was a way to turn off the backlighting completely (there are 3 levels of brightness). I don't like any light when I sleep, so I have to keep this in another room. All in all, I would get it again.
