From 50 to 26 Lbs

The hay bales looked pitifully small compared to what this exact same bale looked like a couple of months ago. Previously these bales were in the 50lb range, so I weighed them when I got home and they averaged 26lbs. I generally have a positive opinion of Tractor Supply, but to cut your product in half and raise the price without posting it before the customer pays for it is not ok. I realize we are in a hay shortage and expected to pay more, but if you were going to go up on price and sell me half as much without telling me then you can keep your silly tiny hay bales in your trailer. I included a picture that shows the tiny bale on the right next to four real size bales on the left.

What is it?

I bought a bale to try for a sick heifer to eat and she wouldn't touch it. I offered it to my horses who turned up their noses and left it too. My mama cows wouldn't even eat it and they'll eat almost any hay. What is it, I dont know. Looks like chopped up round bale with a green tint sprayed on it to me. Certainly not worth $15/ bale! Never again.

I purchased 2 bales for my goats. The bales were short-cut, and when I cut the haystring, it fell apart. It was a very loose bail and was wasted due to the very short cut, and so loose.
