Great product!

I feed this chopped hay as a staple part of my horses' diet. It is economical and is better for the horses, in my opinion, than a processed pelleted food. Used with alfalfa cubes, sunflower seeds and vit/mins this is a perfect daily feed.

Some bags are great quality and others are mediocre. Some have a lot of molasses and some have hardly any.

my horse have done very well on this product. i mix it as a dingy with socked hqy pellets and supplements. the fiber is just the perfect touch not to colic. also my goats love it. they need fiber and eat this over other choices ibe given them. fiber i believes helps them with colic, please dont discountue this product.. a few tractor supplys havent had it latley. so depressing

It was very moldy

I had really high hopes for this but unfortunately it was moldy when I opened it. Very strong moldy smell and visible chunks of white/grey mold. I only bought 1 to try and it wasn't worth the time driving that far to return it so I spread it out on the ground to hopefully enrich the soil when it breaks down. Now I have see if I can find a better alternative. Really disappointed.

Good alternative

I bought this the first time to supplement my hay traveling cross country. It worked out well. Now my horse has lost most of his teeth so I use it to supplement soaked alfalfa cubes and pellets. Again it has worked out well.
