Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reasonably Priced! Been buying this for some time now and even though occasionally I buy some of the more expensive stuff, I always come back to Producer's Pride and my horses love it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pellet for both easy and hard keepers. We needed a second pellet to feed my "fat off of air and sunshine" mare so she'd quit eating our senior gelding's more expensive pellet. Don't ask me why, but our two sudden think pellet is FAR superior to grain and would pick the pellet out and leave the sweet feed. This is a perfect option for someone needing the equivalent of a 12% sweet feed in pellet form. My only drawback is that is a very dry and dusty. When compared to our other "high-end" pellet, this one kicks up a dust storm in the bucket. Other than that, great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feed We only use these pellets and have for the past 15 years, The location in beeville occasionally runs out and sometimes it takes up to a week to get more. But great product

With this feed would I need to supplement minerals and vitamins? Is this a complete diet, aside from hay/pasture? I mean I would not need to add additional corn, oats, sweet feed etc? Thank you so much for your guidance!

Asked by: Keltics
This feed would work best with a vitamin/mineral supplement.

I have horses and cows, is this safe for cows too?

Asked by: highlandhorselover
Feeding Off-Label is not recommended. Feeds are labeled for the species that they are designed for, feeding off label can cause health problems. However, feeding a little of this horse feed to cows will not be a problem. It is not a complete feed, but it could be used as a supplemental feed.
