    Wires too close

    These are the cheaper insulators and will work fine for 17 ga wire being powered by a smaller charger. My 6 joule charger will actually arc between the wires, grounding out the fence. I'll always spend a little extra and get the black donut insulators. They're still inexpensive, and a lot higher quality.
