This 1-1/4 in. x 1 in. Water Source Brass Male Reducing Adapter with Rope Loop connects PVC pipe to the barbed end and a threaded iron pipe to the female end. To minimize leaks, make sure all connections with the PVC pipe adapters are tight. Use thread tape on all threaded pipe adapter connections.
