Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product, just more expensive. It was exactly what I was needing but it was about $75 more than anywhere else & yet it was the only place that had it in stock. So I had to get it, couldn't wait 2-3 days for the same one just cheaper.

I have a brand new 265 foot deep well that I would like to have a pump placed 150 down. Should I match this pump to a 30/50 pressure switch? I have a single story home with 10 outlets and plan on a 40+gallon pressure tank. Thanks in advance.

Asked by: Paul Short
This all depends on where your water level is in the well and what your elevation is from the well to the house. The bigger the tank, the less the pump has to start, stop, start and stop. This will extend the life of the product. Please keep in mind that the product specifications indicate a maximum recommended depth of 200 ft to water.

Can this pump work on it's side? We have two 1250 gal holding tanks for our chicken houses and the old pump that went out is on it's side in the tank and worked well for almost 10 yrs. Just wondering if they are mean to run on their sides?

Asked by: clgraham82
Submersible well pumps should not be installed horizontally, they are designed to hang vertically in a well casing.

Trying again:new 265 foot deep well with a pump placed 150 down. 20ft to water Should I match this pump to a 30/50 pressure switch? single story home 10 outlets and plan a 35 gal pressure tank. The home sits approx 10 ft higher than the well head

Asked by: Paul Short
With 20' to the water this pump will give you about 14.8 gpm. The P/S you can use the 30/50 or 40/60,(this is how hard the water hits your body). The recommendation is to use a bigger tank, if you use the 35 gallon size the bladder will rupture.

Can I answer Nemylet's question about the control box? On 03-28-2017,I called 800-535-4950. After being on hold for about 15 minutes, Jose answered my control-box question. Model CLA202-13 does not need one. My pump worked perfectly. I'm a happy customer.

can this pump run on a 1800 watt solar generator

Asked by: Rodriguez
This pump requires 1150 running watts but could draw as much as 3450 watts on start up. You could not operate this pump with a 1800 watt generator.
