CountyLine Convertible Cast Iron Jet Pump, 1 HP is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 89.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from 1hp deep well jet pump. This was a replacement. For this type of pump it is fine and my only choice for this well. It is pumping from 70’ depth at 6800 altitude. It is made in China.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Pump Lots Of Pressure. Great pump. The 4 star rating is only because the set up instructions suck. One important item that is not well represented in the instructions is the "pressure control valve" that goes into the "out" port on the top of the pump. It has to be installed first before any pipe or the pump won't work. Otherwise set up and operation is great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor QC standards Would not build pressure, nor would it draw any suction at all even when primed time and time again. Pulled the pump housing off and found broken pieces of the impeller. Probably a fluke, but it was enough of a headache for me to decide to go with a submersible

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Convertible pump Pump works like a charm. Just loud when running. That's why it only got 3 stars.

I am trying to pump water from a gravity-flow spicket up a small hill to a travel trailer and outdoor shower with a small water heater. The water from the spicket is about 13PSI and I'm hoping to get about 40PSI with a pump. Would this be a good option?

Asked by: FFC27
The CL100 will get you up to 50psi, but will give you about 17gpm. No, This Unit will get Starved for the Water, from the Water Hydrant. You will need a Check Valve from the Hydrant to the Pump, About 12” from the Pump. I would Suggest the CLTS5 Pump (1/2hp), which will still get you the 50psi at the Faucet and Flow about 9gpm of Water. Most Faucets are about 1gpm. Then you will need to have a Pre-Charged Tank, a CLPT36 Tank. The Tank is so the Pump is off at least 5 to 10 Minute from when the Pump Shuts Off and then when it has to Turns Back On. Not Having the Tank will make the Pump Motor be On, Off, On Off, Which will Be Hard on the Motor (Possible Burn the Motor Out).

the motor runs the pump builds pressure but no water volume

Asked by: fruitland Jeff
If the ejector was installed properly, the next thing to check is for a suction leak. If the pump is drawing air from the suction line, it will not build to pressure. To check, put foam shaving cream around all joints, fittings, connections, etc. on the suction line. Run the pump and see if the shaving cream dimples anywhere. If it does, you know you have a suction leak at that point and it needs to be resealed. Check this throughout the line, even up at the pump head. This is a common problem and often goes unnoticed because you will usually not see water leaking.

Can this pump be configured to a system that only has a 1 3/4in pipe going into the ground. I share my well with my neighbor and the well doesn't give me room for anything else.

Asked by: Allthecards0u812
Yes, the CL100 can be configured for shallow well operation by attaching the ejector kit to the front of the pump. This will provide a 1 ¼ inch female pipe connection.

why does a cl100 1 horse power model number 1028145 only pump to 30 psi and will not go any higher when it is factory set to click on at 30 and off at 50?

Asked by: charles shelby
For model CL100 to reach the shut off pressure of 50 PSI requires the use of Ejector Kit FP520-100-P2 properly configured and plumbed into the system. Ejector kit may be missing , improperly configured, Fouled by debris, or mechanically damaged.

I need to have a pressure switch on the pipe that will shut the pump off at certain pressures. How can I accomplish this with this product?

Asked by: Industrial
This pump comes with a pressure switch that turns the pump on at 30 PSI and off at 50PSI.
