the motor runs the pump builds pressure but no water volume

Asked by: fruitland Jeff
If the ejector was installed properly, the next thing to check is for a suction leak. If the pump is drawing air from the suction line, it will not build to pressure. To check, put foam shaving cream around all joints, fittings, connections, etc. on the suction line. Run the pump and see if the shaving cream dimples anywhere. If it does, you know you have a suction leak at that point and it needs to be resealed. Check this throughout the line, even up at the pump head. This is a common problem and often goes unnoticed because you will usually not see water leaking.

why does a cl100 1 horse power model number 1028145 only pump to 30 psi and will not go any higher when it is factory set to click on at 30 and off at 50?

Asked by: charles shelby
For model CL100 to reach the shut off pressure of 50 PSI requires the use of Ejector Kit FP520-100-P2 properly configured and plumbed into the system. Ejector kit may be missing , improperly configured, Fouled by debris, or mechanically damaged.

I purchased a cl100 on 04/17 and installed it the same day,two months later the pump started to just hum when it was supposed to start pumping.I would like to know why it is so hard to get this pump replaced under warranty

Asked by: chevymann1966
Please contact customer service at 1-800-535-4950. We can do some troubleshooting and get an idea of what’s going on with the system. If the pump is humming and not pumping, it’s likely there is a capacitor issue.
