I bought this to replacey 6039 model that I had for 17 years. This stove is almost identical to my old stove except some improvement were made. Hopefully I will get the same performance out of this one. Only reason it got a 4 instead of a 5 there was no instructions for putting it together. Had to find them online.

it's got its pros and cons. I've given this stove a 4-star review for several reasons. I'll explain. I bought this stove new in 2007 from tractor supply (it's now 2022) i got it for a supplemental heat source to run when my woodstove wasn't. it worked great for that. I used it for a couple years when I didn't have firewood and it worked ok. during the warmer part of the winter season when the stove doesn't have to blast out super hot heat it works great. however, when it needs to be cranked up it seems to have its limits. it will only push out so much heat. the highest auto setting (5) is useless. it won't put out more heat and it's too much for the burn pot to handle to burn efficiently and it will ultimately overfill and eventually put out the fire in the burn pot. cheap dusty dry/ junk pellets will jamb the lift auger assembly - which i would assume would happen with any stove with the lift designed pellet system. now for the good. its design makes it very room friendly - you don't need much clearance to operate this stove. the top doesn't get hot and neither do the sides. the front only gets hot on and around the door. so far since purchasing I've replaced was the door glass and the seal because I cracked the glass when replacing the glasses seal. the other thing I've replaced was the ignitor. only one complaint - the room fan is a bit noisy - it's been that way since day i bought it. now for the best part. the ash box. awesome idea!!! i can burn 6-9 bags before having to shut down the stove and clean it out. overall gave it 4 stars. It's not perfect but it'll do.
