Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect We bought it to plant potatoes. It is a perfect size for planting potatoes in. We drilled holes in the bottom for drainage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pot for isolating.... ...we bought this pot to isolate trees that were planted over a septic system, and to eliminate the risk that roots would seek out moisture within the tanks, thus compromise the integrity of those systems. The pots allowed segregation of the trees from the underlying septic systems. Should roots "seek" the moisture below, the worst case would require cutting roots that extend over the rims of the pots. In the unlikely situation that those roots would extend beyond the pot, they can easily be cut off, eliminating any risk.

I'm looking at this for a planter for a large Bird of Paradise--I will drill holes for drainage. Root system is very strong.

Asked by: ZZ2001
No problem at all. People use them as planters all the time (indoor or outdoors) and should last many many years.

This is made of LDP. Does LDP have any insulation qualities? I’m considering this as an ice tub to chill a beer keg.

Asked by: Declan
Yes, it can be used for this

This is dependent upon the deicer/heater you choose. We suggest any tank deicer/heater that is rated for 25 gallons.
