Awesome product but, unfortunately, with a fatal flaw. The manufacturing design needs to be changed so that the construction of the lip does not allow water into it when dumping the tank. Great place for bugs, algae, and mold to fester. Then that contamination fall back into the tank when it is turned upright. There is not enough room to get a brush in the gap to clean in there either. So you’ll never get this tank clean once you’ve used it. Everything else about this product is absolutely perfect… Love the size, the color, the shape, and the style. Such a bummer about the poor rim design.

The plastic rim is not sealed to the plastic tub base, so if you happen to fill the tub up to its top height limit, water then penetrates into the upper molded rim and stays in there. To get the water out, you then have to turn the tub upside down and rock the tub side-to-side, and end-to-end, while thumping it on the ground, to totally remove the water that entered the upper rim. With the 'BEHLEN' brand and the expensive cost of the tub, you would think that they would have fused the plastic rim to the plastic base to eliminate this issue. Poor design.

Very well made and just the right size.

This is the second Behlen Poly Tank I've had for horses. Sturdy yet relatively light weight. Easy to clean. Easy to move. The BEST THING about them is the light color of these particular tanks, which allows you to check the quality of the water easily.
