I use these pellets for cat litter. Being in cat rescue we try to find products that work well at a reasonable price. It is great for cats because when they urinate, it turns the pellets to sawdust and it is easy to scoop out. No dust like the regular and clumping litter. A lot cleaner to use. Remember, don't mist it like you would for horses, just leave it as is and the cats will do the rest. Great buy for people with multiple cats looking for a cheaper and effective alternative.

Poor Substitute

Most of these reviews address a different brand. Not the new Tractor Supply brand. It is a very poor substitute - starts out brownish and is not nearly as absorbent as the ones they use to carry for less cost. I will not buy any more of it.

Best Bedding Ever

Super Absorbent.Easy to clean. Almost no waste. Saves you money. Our horses are in thier stalls about 12 to 14 hours a day and after the initial 8 bags are added per stall, we only have to add about 2 per month. It is the greatest bedding ever. If you are not using it you should be. :o)

I started using this in place of pine shavings in my chicken coop and I love it. It absorbs moisture and breaks down into a saw dust type of material. My coop also smells way better
