To be honest, I never really liked Tractor Supply bedding. It was never absorbent, and the flake size was just too big. However, when they began making these extra-fine bags of shavings, I decided to give them a try. I'm glad I did; they are fantastic! I can clean stalls/coops much more efficiently without wasting any shavings. They are also reasonably priced--overall, worth the money!

Great quality shavings, I feel like they work so much better than the others for horses that pee a lot. My only complaint is the bags for these shavings only rip so easily. I have yet to get a bag home without a hole already in them at the store or rip open during loading/unloading.

Bales are loosely packed, but overall, quality of the sawdust shavings is good. Makes picking easy, but takes more bags to adequately cover the stall floor.

Higher prices than competitors, and doesn’t go as far. I can buy a different brand of shavings a dollar cheaper from a local feed store, and they seem to spread nicer and further..
