Rated 2 out of 5 by from Plastic Bedding Fork I actually was going to call and bring them back, I like the weight and handle but the forks have bent after 2 weeks of use and I don't know why. I have had other forks for years and never had this problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleasantly surprised I actually just bought this because we broke a tine on our only fork in the barn and I needed a quick replacement on the cheap until I could order another head. Being so inexpensive, I figured it probably wouldn't last long, but again, because it was inexpensive, I also figured it was no big deal if it didn't last. The fork feels really light, so I doubted its durability, but I have been very pleasantly surprised. We clean 5 stalls and 3 paddocks every day and this fork is holding up like a champ; the lighter weight handle has actually turned out to be a positive. I plan on picking up another to have on hand because I've really come to like it that much.

Can this dig into sand or would the tines break?

Asked by: KRos
This product is a plastic forkhead and it is for the bedding. We don't suggest to use it for sand. The sand will have the stone and other hard things inside which may break the plastic forkhead.

how far apart are the tines

Asked by: renald
They are 0.6 inches apart at the top and 2.5" apart at the side edges.
