Our last toro lasted over 15 years. My 66 year young wife mows the nearly 1 acre we have because I work out of town a lot. This thing is amazing

Toro and Briggs and Stratton suck

I bought this mower and it started to smoke and oil was getting into the carburetor. I sent it to a authorized toro shop. They said the cylinder was scorched. Sent pics to toro. They, “Toro” said I ran it while it was low on oil. First off, I’m 58 years old a know how to use and maintain a mower. I always checked the oil and replaced air filter. I also bought the warranty And that was denied as well. Not happy with Toro

A Solid Buy

This mower is solid, not too heavy and cranks on first pull. They deck is plenty big for a midsize yard. I went from a riding mower to this. The self pace does work especially if you walk slow. I walk at a fairly quick pace and finished my yard,1/3 acre, in 1 hour. It is very easy to assemble and get started right away. Don't buy oil, it comes in the box. I did find it spits some grass out of the right front wheel and the bag fills super fast. If it didn't have those things going on, it would be 5 stars.

I bought this mower more than a year ago. 3 out of 5 tops. It those not do well in grass taller than 5 inches. The pull string is the first thing I noticed, it feels like it has to be at a certain point for the engine to turn over. Almost feels like it has grass around the blades but doesn't. I like the pace as you go but its bot great at mulching, definitely need the bag. And to top it off it just blow a head gasket.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Ok mower….loud engine noise

Just replaced my 12 year old toro with this. Sure is big difference. Cuts ok, but leaves piles on high wheel setting when grass is damp. The motor runs extremely loud. First mower I’ve owned that hearing protection might be a good idea. Toro has gone cheap like everyone else. . The personal pace works very well just as my old one did. That being said, probably won’t buy another because of the loud engine noise.
