well worth the money

I have split wood for the past 6 years with a countyline 30tn splitter. It was a great machine. but after splitting 6 cords of wood I am really enjoying the full bore experience. I haven't used the 6 way wedge as much as I thought I would. It works fine but for smaller wood it makes too many small pieces and trash. So I have used the 4 way the most. One thing I wish the hitch was moveable. after splitting for an hour it buries the hitch then you have to dig it out. I wish I didn't have to unhook to split. If I could move the hitch to the back side then I wouldn't have to unhook. It definitely sped my production up. In my opinion the wedge moves up and down plenty of distance, the log lift works great. set up was simple. I will say it works best with larger logs. if you get too small it can be hard to get it to split directly down the center. all in all very happy with the purchase.

Turn off the gas before transporting
2 months ago
Picked up the splinter and towed it about 20 miles. When I got it home you could not pull the recoil because they didn’t turn off the gas. I had to pull the spark plug and blow out the gas in the cylinder. I then changed the oil to be on the safe side.
I think it is going to be a good machine. Time will tell.
