Q: Where can I get my acetylene and oxygen tanks filled near Bearden Arkansas? I asked if they could fill them or have exchanged and they didn't know. Purchased at the Fordyce Arkansas store.

Q: Are the tanks DOT certified? So I can refill the tanks at any location that sells oxygen and acetylene.

    A: All of our tanks are either DOT or ISO certified, both of which are accepted by DOT in the US. So yes, you should be able to exchange and refill these customer owned cylinders anywhere that sells oxygen and acetylene.

Q: what adapters do I need for regulators to fit Matheson tanks?

    A: Cylinder tanks are uniform in valves. The exception being that Acetylene tanks can come with either a male or female valve. Without seeing your tanks, I am unsure of what adapter you may need. Torch is dangerous

Seems like a decent setup for the money, but the torch head is junk. It almost immediately starting burning back into the torch handle, which can explode and possibly blow your hand off. I ended up using my old victor torch instead and throwing the new one away.

Great kit on a budget.

It comes with everything needed, you will have to exchange the new empty tanks for used full ones. But that’s expected. And you own the tanks so no monthly rental fees like if you had an air-gas brand tank. I bought this on clearance and paid an insanely low price for it. That’s why I drove almost 2 hours to pick it up
