Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reallife use I have bought several of these gates for my son's 4H pig projects. They last approximately 1-2 years. The wire mesh breaks apart and sometimes the tubing bends bad enough where it won't close properly. I wish they would last longer or cost less.

Would this gate work well as the door of a horse stall? Or is it not heavy-duty enough?

Asked by: Barrelracer03
This is recommended for light confinement only.

The opening of my horse stall is 4' 1/4".  Does this 4' gate measurement include the hinge?

Asked by: Squidink
The opening of the stall itself it 3' 8". With the hinge included it makes it 4' total. This would be a tight fit to include the 4' gate in the horse stall.
