Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gate for price I installed this gate as an outside access gate on my goat pen. It has been up for 10 years with no issues at all. Has withstood my 4 goats pressing against, running against in attempt to jump fence and head butting with no issues at all.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Could be better... Bought this gate in June and by October my goats have popped all the welds on the bottom, one side and halfway across the top. I now have it rigged up with a chain to keep the wire tight to the frame. I have Boer does and they like to stand on it. If you have small goats or animals that won't be as rough on it, you will have better luck. Loved it at first but bummed cause I spent a lot of money on it and it didn't hold up...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this pruchase I bought one of the wider gates over eight years ago and fought forever to kept a walk thru gate that wouldn't sag eventually so, I decided to replace a single gate with what I knew would work for a long time. These gates are well enough made. I can weld but, my gate didn't need the slightest repair as it was perfect when I bought it. Maybe consumers should check the quality and condition before they leave the store. Accidents happen and stuff sometimes get abused by people not responsible for the craftsmanship of products; like shippers. I am satisfied... just as I thought I would be. My mail lady was a little confused as how to open the gate as I had bought the heavy duty red hardware pack from TS too. After I showed her how to operate it I cannot imagine that I will have any other problems.

Does the 4` include the mounting brackets? We have a specific 4' opening to fill.

Asked by: MjTruex
All gates are manufactured 3 inches shorter than advertised size to allow for hardware.

I am going to be putting this gate up to form an opening in a 4' high welded wire fence put up on T posts. What type of posts do I get to go on either side of this gate? I know the simple T posts won't support it.

Asked by: Cait
Any type of wooden post would be recommended for hanging this gate.

Can this gate be attached to a T-Post?

Asked by: SFCO
The best mounting recommendation for this is to use a wooden post.
