Rated 3 out of 5 by from Revised Review REVISED TAKE ON SIMPSON PRESSURE WASHER (Model # 60852): I might have been a little harsh and premature in my previous evaluation of my Simpson pressure washer. I wound up taking it to a local pressure washer sales/service dealer here in Las Cruces—Stahl’s Cleaning Systems. I don’t know if Stahl’s is factory authorized, but Meyer Stahl is a true pro. He services all pressure washers, including multi-ton industrial models. Mr. Stahl checked out the unit and made the following suggestions: 1. I was using Shell mid-grade 88 octane gas. He recommended using regular gas @ 86 octane, which I did. For whatever reason, I think the higher octane might have fouled the plug, which I cleaned. 2. He also suggested not attaching the wand tip until after the unit was started and running. Apparently, this reduces the back pressure on the engine when starting. It’s not too hard to affix the tip in this manner. He tested the unit at the shop, and when I got it home, I implemented his suggestions. Worked like a charm. So, so far so good. In Mr. Stahl’s professional opinion, the Simpson unit is more than adequate for my purposes. I hope he’s right. So far, so good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use it more then one time before review. I gave a review on this product after first use and i regret it. It had a problem starting back up after use and it just needed to be run a little more because it has been used several times since with no problems at all. My arm is no longer tired. Great washer and love the Honda motor now just like the one i had used in the past for 15 years.

Is there no way to turn down the pressure on a megashot 3200? If not, is there a way to add an adjustment that you offer for sale? Options? I want to stay with a Honda engine - so this is the lowest PSI unit you offer - the 3200...right?

Asked by: Benjie
Hi Benjie! We recommend our Dial-N-Wash accessory as this allows you to dial from MIN PSI to MAX PSI with a single twist! :) SIMPSON Team

Hi TomNilges, You are able to use a 3100 psi rated surface cleaner with a 3200 PSI machine. The only difference will be that your machine will only release 3100 psi in pressure using the surface cleaner. Thanks! SIMPSON Team-KA
