I purchased this Simpson 61084 on 8/19/21 and I so wanted to like this machine. The Kohler motor starts great and the system has loads of power, but unfortunately the problems outweigh the good. I've used it about an hour and a half now cleaning greasy tractor rims and the problems thus far are: 1. The trigger assembly often gets stuck in the on or a weird half-on position. The only way to unstick it is to turn the entire machine off. 2. Sometimes the pump goes into some sort of a heavy overload position causing the motor to pull way down. The system will not recover unless you turn it off and then restart it after releasing the pressure on the wand. 3. It has zero suction through the soap hose no matter what you do it. 4. The throttle control is a nice idea but it is so tight that it is very difficult to move and when it finally does move it usually moves all at once causing it to shut off. This is going back this weekend.

Exhaust burned grass

Great pressure washer. Starts easy runs good, But... Each spot where washer was located during operation resulted in a 12"x12" dead spot in the grass burned by the machines exhaust. Would have been a 5 star rated machine however I cannot overlook such an obvious design flaw in a machine marketed as a premium residential washer.

Clean oil is the same color as the dipstick = hard to read.
It requires 20 oz of oil, you gave me 32. Guess what happened.
The dipstick markings are not aligned with the auto-shutoff feature. The oil will show as adequate on the dipstick, but the shutoff sensor will trigger and it won't start.
Well built, sturdy. Once I got it going it worked well.
